Is Spring Late, or No?

We have had snow, wind, chilly rain, and clouds for almost two weeks now. All this after having warm sunshine, dry weather, and grass fires in our area because of early spring high temperatures.

It seemed like spring would be short and off to a running start, when overnight the brakes went on and now we wait.

I tell myself- it's only April, be patient and be thankful you don't live up north an hour or two- they still have snow! Or like west of us where they got nearly 2 feet of snow last weekend!!!

Spring is coming. Time to get those seeds started. I'm mixing Mother Dirt Activated Compost with vermicast and MDC Grow-mix this afternoon in my big wheelbarrow and I will be filling pots with that. I'll be using that for my potato barrels also.
